Anniversary of People's Artist Nasiba Zeynalova
The 110th anniversary of the outstanding actress, People's Artist Nasiba Zeynalova was celebrated with the organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan.
The anniversary was attended by prominent artists, intellectuals and media representatives.
The event commemorated the dear memory of Nasiba khanum with deep respect and honor. Speakers - Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan, People's Artist, State Prize laureate Haji Ismayilov, Deputy Chairman, People's Artist, Professor Ilham Namig Kamal, Honored Art Worker, Doctor of Arts, Professor Maryam Alizadeh, Head of the Department of Acting at the Academy of Performing Arts, Honored Artist, Professor Gulshad Bakhshiyeva, People's Artist Yasin Garayev, Executive Secretary of the Union of Theater Workers Aida Gafarova, Actress of the National Young Spectator Theater Zemfira Abdulsamadova, Honored Art Worker, Doctor of Arts, Professor Ilham Rahimli spoke about the rich life and creative path of Nasiba Zeynalova, her services to Azerbaijani culture.
Between the speeches, a video dedicated to Nasiba khanum was shown, and fragments from the performances and films in which the artist played were presented. Speaking on behalf of the family members, Nasiba Zeynalova's granddaughter Nasiba Novruzova expressed her deep gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
