The first performance of the "Eynek" Theater Studio was performed
Speaking before the performance, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elman Rafiyev greeted the audience, provided information about the newly established "Eynek" Theater Studio, and expressed gratitude to the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan for creating conditions for the studio's activities.
Then he gave the floor to the Chairman of the Union, People's Artist, State Prize laureate Haji Ismayilov. Haji Ismayilov congratulated the members of the newly established studio and wished them success. He noted that: "The play "The Game" based on S. Beckett's "Waiting for Godot", staged and directed by Mammad Rafiyev, is a new plastic interpretation of the work: in the story of two nameless mimes, instead of Estragon and Vladimir, action becomes words, and silence turns into a cry.
Two pantomime performers face each other in a silent space. Their dialogue is not built with words, but with gestures, pauses and body language. Waiting turns into a game, and the game turns into a hopeless search."
The roles in the play were played by young actors Nahid Aslanli and Mammad Rafiyev. The play, which was awarded an award at the Panomime Festival held in the Iranian city of Zanjan, was met with great interest by the audience.
At the end, commemorative photos were taken.
