Akif Mirzayev's 60th anniversary
The 60th anniversary of Akif Mirzayev, actor of the Sumgayit State Drama Theater, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan, laureate of the Progress Medal and laureate of the Presidential Prize, was celebrated.
The anniversary event was attended by cultural and artistic figures, representatives of the community of the Gubadli region.
Deputy head of the executive power of the Gubadli region Khoshgadam Aliyeva, who spoke at the event, spoke about the life and work of the actor, his contribution to the development of the Azerbaijani theater.
Also, on behalf of the head of the executive power of the Gubadli region, Malik Isagov, she congratulated the artist and presented him with a certificate of honor. Honored Artist Azad Shukurov, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan, who took part in the evening, congratulated Akif Mirzayev, wished him success in his future activities and presented him with an honorary decree of the Union.
After the performances, the play “Hadji Kara” by M.F. was shown. Akhundzade" staged by People's Artist Firudin Maharramov.
Akif Mirzaev played the role of Hadji Kara. The main roles were played by honored artists Jalal Mamedov, Ilakha Safarova, Izameddin Bagirov, other roles were played by Ilham Safarli, Rovshan Askerov and others.
